Seyi is a senior manager at Ernst & Young (EY) where he provides accounting advisory and consultancy solutions to high profile clients ranging from the private sector to government business entities.
While he specializes in managing accounting change implementation projects and providing technical support to assurance teams, his experience also cuts across streamlining financial processes and controls, integrating processes as part of finance transformations, ERP implementations accounting support, rationalisation of statutory reporting processes, analysis of complex issues arising from proposed new accounting guidance, including impacts on systems and processes.
Seyi has been involved in developing enterprise-wide accounting policy frameworks, consolidation packs, operating manuals for the finance and risk functions. He also leads accounting advisory and recommendation engagement requiring research, identification of allowed alternative accounting treatments and concluding on a practicable as well as acceptable solution.
Seyi has over 8 years teaching experience in ACCA and CFA tuition with a particular focus on Audit, Governance and Financial management papers. He is reputed for having taught as a senior tutor at several ACCA tuition outfits prior to joining Ivy League Associates including SWOT Associates, Executive Business School (EBS), Synergy Professionals, Kings Crown Business School and Centre for Law & Business (CLB) to mention but a few. He anchored ACCA Nigeria revision classes for paper F8 and P7 for the June 2011 exams.
Seyi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting (first class honors) and currently pursuing an MBA with Warwick Business School (WBS). He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) UK, the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute , USA and the Global Association of Risk Professional (GARP), USA.
He is a regular facilitator at ICAN MCPE programs and the Financial Institution Training Centre (FITC).
At Ivy League, Seyi leads the delivery of paper F8, P4 & P7 while he provides support for paper F9 & P1.
